A dog’s typical life expectancy is just too short, in my opinion. My family’s oldest dog lived to the age of nearly 18, which is still an incredible achievement. He was deaf and blind as a post by that point.
In the end, we chose to put him down because we couldn’t see him surviving in such a poor state. Despite the fact that Brian claims that dogs can live to be 30 years old, it’s hard to believe.
Maggie, his dog, was a source of immense sorrow for him after her death at the age of 30. Dogs can live up to 210 years. WHAT?! In my opinion, the typical lifespan of a dog is too short. My family’s oldest dog lived to the age of nearly 18, which is still an incredible achievement. He was as blind and deaf as a post at that point.
We eventually decided to euthanize him since we couldn’t envision him living on in such an away. It’s hard to believe that a dog could live to be thirty (30) years old, but that’s exactly what Australian guy Brian claims.
Maggie, his Australian Kelpie, died recently at the ripe old age of 30. In dog years, that’s 210 years! WHAT?!
Brian, the owner of the old girl.
Brian doesn’t have any paperwork to back up his allegation, but we’d like to believe he’s telling the truth because he doesn’t stand to gain much by lying. Brian claims that his elderly pupper was highly active right until the end.
What a good girl!
