Many women want to be mothers, but one woman’s dream was nearly dashed when she realized she’d never be able to start a family. Satu Nordling Gonzalez, a Swedish woman who spent the past 14 years of her life pregnant, is now the proud mother of ten children. The 35-year-old mother shares beautiful images of her four children, who range in age from four months to thirteen years old, on Instagram.

Satu, a stay-at-home mom, was reportedly 21 years old when she became pregnant with her now-husband Andres from Uruguay. Still, the pregnancy ended in sorrow when she miscarried.

But, after believing it was impossible for two and a half years, she became pregnant again, and their first child, Nicole, was born in 2008. Satu and Andres, who works in construction, now have six girls and four boys: Nicole, thirteen, Vanessa, twelve, twins Jonathan and Danilo, 11, Olivia, 8, Kevin, 7, Celina, 6, Isabelle, three, and Melania, one-and-a-half.

The busy mother’s day begins around 6.30 a.m., when she changes diapers, prepares breakfast for her large family, and gets her older children ready for school. Then the chores start, with her cleaning the kitchen, washing laundry and dishes, vacuuming the house, and tidying up their Swedish home – all before doing more laundry after lunch. All the while, she is responsible for the clan’s youngest members and ensures that they follow a rigid sleeping pattern. When the kids get home from school, she’ll make them a snack, help them with their homework, finish up the housekeeping, and start preparing supper while they’re playing. Satu’s bedtime is around midnight, according to BabyNews, and she only gets alone time with her husband when all the kids are in bed at 8 p.m.

“Being a mother entails a great deal of effort and sacrifice. Even before I eat breakfast, a sensation of exhaustion can overpower me. “However, the best reward for my caring for children is their smiles and affection,” Satu added.
