Sibling relationships are unique and irreplaceable. It might be multiplied when you share your joy with a brother or sister. Amber and Autum, twin sisters, had a lot to be happy about…
Since they were children, Autum Shaw and Amber Tramontana have done everything together. As they grew older, they strengthened their unshakable bond even more.
When both of the sisters gave birth simultaneously, they made headlines. On their 33rd birthdays, October 29th, 2020, they gave birth to healthy baby girls 90 minutes apart!
Both sisters were admitted to Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr George Vick, who delivered Blakely and Charleston, was the same doctor.
Charleston was 9 pounds, 4 ounces, and Blakely was 7 pounds, 2 ounces. As seen by their social media posts, the hospital where the infants were born did not take the big coincidence lightly.
“Double the sweetness, double the love!” they captioned a photo of the twins holding their babies of joy. This week, identical twins Autum and Amber gave birth to their newborn girls, Charleston and Blakely, at Fort Sanders Regional within 90 minutes of each other. It was also Autumn’s and Amber’s birthdays!”
Sisters have an unbreakable link. Even as adults, they are inseparable. Amber and Autum received their undergraduate and graduate degrees from the same university. Both sisters went on to become registered nurses and then nurse practitioners.
Amber and Autum gave birth to sons ten weeks apart in 2018. Their sons had a gap when they were born, but their weights and lengths were the same.
Autum had a miscarriage when she was trying for her second kid. She was heartbroken at first, but now she believes God has a plan for her. She became pregnant again after her miscarriage. The sisters found out they were pregnant just a few weeks into their pregnancies and discovered they were due on the same day!
“After our miscarriage, we wondered, ‘Why did we have to go through this?’ “However, we were confident that God had a plan for us,” she continues. Amber talked about how she wished for twins but now believes God provided a better method for her baby to have a buddy.
When the twins gave birth to their sons in 2018, Autumn first went into labour. Everyone anticipated things to go the same way this time, but Amber was the first to give birth.
The sisters gave birth in adjacent rooms. The babies immediately bonded, according to Autum. “They took to each other like they’d known each other for nine months in the womb,” she added.
The twins are thrilled that their girls can spend time together. Charleston and Blakely will bond in the same way that their mothers did.
“It’s the birthday present growing sweeter,” Amber explained.
